How it works
Café World uses coins and cash as currency; and Café Points (CP) to advance your player to the next level.
Café Coins
There are many way to earn coins and cash. Coins can be earned by serving food in your café, or by visiting your neighbors. You can also sell some decorations in exchange for coins. Coins are also earned when your customers eat your food.
You can spend coins on food to cook, expansions, decorations or furniture. You also need to spend coins on cleaning your dirty stoves after you have served a dish. If you are low on coins, you can always buy more.
Café Cash
Café Cash can only be purchased with real cash. You can use café cash to buy exclusive items for your café, or expansions. You can’t use café cash to buy dishes to cook.
Cafe Points
Café Points (CP) are earned when you cook and serve food. You can also earn CP by visiting your neighbor’s café. When you earn enough points, you will advance to the next level. With every advance, you unlock special items. These special items can be gifts, expansions, furniture or other goodies for your café.
Levels
A new level is achieved based on how many Café Points (CP) you have earned. Café Points are given to you for doing such things as cooking and helping your neighbors. As you acquire more Café Points, you’ll reach new game levels. You start the game at Level 1 – with 2500 coins, 0 Café Points, the 6x9 default café, and the following recipes and gifts unlocked. Build your café & design the layout

There are a countless amount of layouts that work well in Café World. [link to customize café in fundamentals]
When you are thinking of a layout for your café, design a space that your customers are able to maneuver. If your customers are not able to get to their seats, they will leave unsatisfied. Avoid putting decorations in the way of seats.
When you are placing your furniture, a red square will appear under the item if the object will hinder your customers. A green square will appear under the item if it will not hinder your customers.
As you can see in the picture below, there is a square space between the table and the stove. This is the minimum amount needed for customers and servers to walk around.
You may find that placing your serving tables in the center of your café works very well. This way, your servers don’t need to walk all the way from one end of the café to the other in order to serve food.
You can no longer “trap” your servers by placing serving tables or stoves around them. Placing your serving tables in the center is still the fastest way to serve your customers.
Here is a layout that works well:
And here is one that doesn’t work well:
As you can see here, the chairs are blocking the doors. Since no customers can come in, no coins can be earned. You can see them walking right by.
