Just like any good social game on Facebook, if you learn the fundamentals of Mafia Wars, you will suddenly find that your leveling and game play will be so much easier. So, to help you learn the fundamentals faster, you'll find them all here to get you started on the right foot and playing the best that you can. Here are some of the main fundamentals that you will need to know to really play Mafia Wars right:
- Have tons of mafia members: You want to have as many mafia members as possible to help you succeed in several areas of the game. To do this, most people assume that you have to join tons of sites, send thousands of friend requests, and so on. But, let's face it, who has time for that? Instead, simply check out our site and you'll be able to find tons of mafia members.
- Have a plan: You always want to have a plan when you log in to play Mafia Wars. Why? Well if you don't have a plan then you can easily get off track and end up playing for a long time without much to show for it. So, you want to have a plan set up for your daily gaming so that you can get into the game, get done what you need to do, work toward your goals, and be done.
- Work toward your goals: Just like any good social game, you need to have goals in mind when you are playing. For example, you always have the goal of leveling your character in mind, but you want to also work toward that goal while you're working toward other goals, such as completing a special area (like Cuba) or working toward completing collections. When you have goals set for your game time, it will make you more productive in the game itself.
-
Properties are key: In Mafia Wars, properties are key to earning money. In any area (New York, Cuba, etc), you will have the opportunity to own properties and upgrade them so that you bank a good amount of money throughout the day. Some properties are ready to collect after 8 hours or less and some can take up to 72 hours, but no matter how long they take to collect you want to own as many as you possibly can so that you will be able to bank a massive amount of money the higher that you get in levels. Once you have a ton of properties, you'll easily be able to buy the weapons, loot, armor, and vehicles that you need to complete jobs in that area.
- Specialty gigs are well worth your time: Normally, these specialty gigs include things like helping your mafia members on a crime spree where they send you a request for help and you can choose to either help or hurt them. When you do, you gain one of three things: experience, energy, or health. Well, you can never turn down free experience - and this is the choice that you want to make since you don't have to spend any energy and you'll get a better turn out on the experience you gain than the experience you gain if you use the energy it gives you.
- Learn how to use your skill points correctly: While many people mistakenly believe that you should always dump skill points into everything equally, this is actually a recipe for disaster when it comes to Mafia Wars. Yes, you should have a few points in things like Health, Stamina, and so forth - but the vast majority of your skill points should always go into your Energy. Why? Well, it takes Energy to do jobs and the more you have the better you will be. If you don't have the capacity for large amounts of energy, then you won't be able to do the different higher level jobs that you need to level. Remember that you can always buy inventory to build up your attack and defense points, so don't worry about them too much. Keep the majority of your skill points in your energy and you will easily reap the benefits.
