Treasure Isle Tips

Tip 1

Visit your neighbors every day and collect their treasure chests, gems from their trees, as well as help them on their home islands to earn coins and experience.   This can also be a great way to boost your experience over the top when you are very close to leveling.

Tip 2

Use your fruit wisely so that you don't waste any when you are close to leveling.  For example, if you are 5 points or less away from leveling, you don't want to eat a fruit that will give you 25 energy points.  Instead, eat something that will only give you 5 energy points or open a large Tiki head or visit a friend's home island to gain the experience points you need to level.  Otherwise you're wasting fruits that you can use later on since your experience bar will be full again once you level.

Tip 3

Know what each area of land costs so that you can maximize your energy on an island - there is a chart in this guide that will help you learn exactly what different things cost to dig.

Tip 4

When you run out of energy, but have coins and gems you can travel around to some of the different islands that you have available and open the large Tiki heads with gems.  You can also open any dynamite rocks and clear out any bug infested spaces with coins.  This is a great way to earn some extra experience points that might just push you over the edge.

Tip 5

Keep in mind that under digging under Tiki heads will always yield a treasure chest that will be worth anywhere from 5 to 50 experience points.  You will also find a treasure chest somewhere right around the Tiki head that you just dug up, so there is another chunk of experience points that are close together.  If you watch out for this while you're on an island, then you can easily maximize your energy and level faster.

Tip 6

Try to complete each island as you go.  This helps you in several ways: you get a boost to your coins and experience points as you complete an island, you find all of the different treasures located there to help you complete collections, and it will help you move toward leveling.

Tip 7

You need a ton of neighbors to get ahead in Treasure Isle therefore, being a fan of the game and putting your name on their discussion board for neighbors is a must.  It's also a great idea to join some of the other Treasure Isle fan sites out there to help you out.

Tip 8

Don't hesitate to ask for energy packs or fruit from friends and neighbors when you run out of energy.  This can be a great way to get an almost instant boost of energy so you can keep on going.

Tip 9

Don't ignore gifts from friends and try to send out gifts to your friends and neighbors daily.  When you are constantly sending out gifts and extra treasures to friends and neighbors, you'll always be in front of them and they'll remember your face and your name when they are sending out gifts and extra treasure.

Tip 10

Always fill up your wish list and publish it!  This can sometimes be the only way that you can get the treasures you need to complete some collections.

Be Extremely Popular With Your Neighbors

Get all of the neighbors you can — The old saying "the more the merrier" works here just like in any Facebook game. You want to have as many neighbors as possible to get ahead in Treasure Isle. Why? Because you can visit their islands daily and gain coins and experience by helping them do a task, collect coins from their floating treasure chests, and collect gems from their trees. This is a must if you want to get past all of the different large Tiki heads that require 5 or more of one color gem.

Only Plant The "Good Stuff" On Your Island

Watermelons are your friends on your home island — You only have two crops and it can be hard to figure out which fruits to grow. Watermelons are the best because you can easily plant them to be ready to harvest as soon as you have all of your energy refilled. It takes right at eight hours for your energy to completely refill, so if you time your watermelons to grow and be ready when you're ready to log back on — you have instant fruit that will actually help you!

Build Up Your Energy Strategy

When you run out of energy or you're just a few experience points away from leveling, visit islands that have large Tiki heads or dig areas that require coins instead of energy — This way, you can go ahead and level without spending your real money or waiting another eight hours. It's super easy to use this strategy to get ahead if you time your energy and digging right.

Get Your Gift On, And On, And On, And On

Gift and you shall receive — Make sure that you gift to people as often as you can. While Zynga only allows you to gift only to 24 people a day, make sure you do this. Also, when you get extra treasures, you want to make sure to gift them as well. This will put your face and name in front of your neighbors and friends and they will gift to you as often too. This way, you'll get a stead stream of people gifting you items and fruit.

Decorate And Gather

On your island, you can purchase decorations that will give you xp. If you're only a few xp away from leveling, make sure that you get some decorations for your island that will get you there. Also, make sure that you're harvesting your items on your island whenever possible so that you can be sure to get all the goods you'll need from them.
